Contact & Grievances

Spotted a wrong rate, have a question about your data, or want to raise a complaint? Here is how to reach us — and where to go for problems with a lender.
1. How to reach us
Email contact@thecreditcompass.in for anything to do with the site. The Credit Compass is run independently and does not have a phone line. We do not offer one-to-one financial advice by email.
You can also follow us on LinkedIn.
2. Report an error or outdated rate
Accuracy is the whole point of this site, so corrections get priority. To help us fix it quickly, include:
- the page address;
- what is wrong, and what it should say;
- a link to the official source (lender rate card, RBI circular or government notification), if you have one.
We aim to review corrections within 7 days. When we change a figure, the page's “last verified” date is updated. How we verify data is described in our methodology.
3. Privacy and data requests
To access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, email contact@thecreditcompass.in with the subject “Data request”. Most of what you enter on this site never reaches us — it stays in your browser — as explained in our Privacy Policy.
4. Grievance officer
If you have a complaint about the site, its content or how we handle your data, contact our grievance officer:
Bhargav Dwadasi
Grievance Officer, The Credit Compass
contact@thecreditcompass.in (subject: “Grievance”)
We acknowledge grievances within 7 days and aim to resolve them within 30 days of receipt.
5. Complaints about a bank, NBFC or loan app
We cannot act on complaints about a lender, but these official channels can:
- First, complain to the lender's own grievance officer — every regulated lender must publish one.
- If the lender does not resolve it within 30 days, or you are unhappy with the reply, file a complaint with the RBI Integrated Ombudsman.
- Harassment, threats or fraud by a loan app or recovery agent: report to the National Cyber Crime Helpline on 1930 or at cybercrime.gov.in.
- Entities taking deposits or lending without authorisation: report on the RBI's Sachet portal.
